An artwork a day
Welcome to Day 1 of my K-ARt365 Challenge!
Everyday over this year, I will post one small artwork - it could be watercolour, graphite, pastel, colour pencil, landscape, still life, pattern or abstract - anything that catches my fancy.
I will try my best to create one artwork per day and if it's not possible on any given day, I will make two the next day and so on. I believe I have a lot to gain from this exercise, improving my skills being just one of them. Most of all, I'm really eager to compare my work from the beginning of the year to the end and see how my subjects/interest/techniques change over the course of the year.
On December 31, 2015, I hope to have 365 mini artworks. This thought itself both excites and scares me - that's how I know that it's a challenge worth taking up!
I invite you to join me on this journey. Wish you all a creative and artful 2015!
Day 1 of K-ARt365: Maldivian Rothko.
I have a feeling that a lot of my initial works are going to be inspired by the gorgeous Maldivian blues, greens and turquoises I saw over Christmas.
